ICT skills needed before this lesson Must know MSWord intermediately. Must be able to insert data in Excel and to sort alphabetically. Must be able to use Encarta as well as Inet.
Materials to be prepared before this lesson Make sure of what is available on Encarta. Make sure which websites are usable. Worksheets for learners of what is expected from them.
ICT outcomes
(“By the end of this lesson all pupils should be able to…..” 		MSWord = word art, bold, font change, underline, text box, cut and paste.
Excel = input of data, sort (places alphabetically).
Paint = draw, clear, fill colour, text insert, select and cut.
Power P = compile a series of at least 10 slides, insert pictures, cut and paste, font changes, font colours, animation of slides, create links to Inet.
Encarta = extract info successfully, copy and paste.
Internet = able to use a search engine, navigate in and between webpages, distinguish between good and bad info, copy and paste.
